Hard Disk Storage
This is the space you have to store your site. Every website is stored on a webserver which is the computer that broadcasts your site to your visitors. Your hard disk storage is how much space you are allocated on that computer's hard drive. Even most robust websites don't require more than 5 megs of space, but having more is a nice luxury.

Monthly Transfer (also called bandwidth)
This is the total amount of data (including graphics and HTML web pages) which can be uploaded and downloaded from your site each month. It is a rough estimator of how many visitors your hosting plan can accommodate. For example, on an average size website with a moderate amount of graphics, it has been our experience that 750 megs of transfer can accommodate well over 4,000 visitors per month. Some web hosts claim to offer "unlimited bandwidth" which is generally a bad thing. Not only are they likely to pack your site on an overloaded server and connection (bandwidth costs us money), but if you read the fine print there are always "excessive use penalties" which are arbitrary and costly. In contrast, we monitor bandwidth and insure your site is always fast and reliable with no hidden charges.

POP3 Email Accounts
These are email accounts which can be used with your domain name. They allow you to receive and read email via our easy web interface or with a number of popular mail clients. Please visit our support page for more information on configuring your email.

Email List Server
Distribute email messages, newsletters, and other postings to a list of subscribers. You can send messages to your subscriber base as often as you wish until you reach a monthly limit of 5000 emails. SSH
SSH Secure Shell is a program used to log into another computer over a network in order to execute commands in a remote machine and to move files from one machine to another. Monthy Charge (Annually)
When you choose a pre-paid annual account, you pay the specified rate per month for 12 months when you sign up. You will be billed once a year at the given annual rate for your plan. We offer a discounted rate and a free domain name to all of our yearly pre-paid customers. This domain name is yours to keep, and will be free for the entire time you host with us. If you already have your domain name, we can initiate the transfer free of charge.

Monthy Charge (Quarterly)
When you choose a pre-paid quarterly account, you pay the specified rate per month for 3 months when you sign up. You will be billed once every 3 months at the given quarterly rate for your plan. If you do not have a domain name, we will charge your account $20.00 to register your new domain name for one year, or $17.50 per year for multiple years. If you already own your domain name, we will initiate the transfer free of charge.

One-Time Setup Fee
You will be charged a setup fee for each account opened. This fee covers the technical resources necessary to correctly provision your web hosting account. Our automated system allows us to keep this cost low by automating various aspect of account creation. This fee is non-refundable.
